Okay, understandable. But what about Einstein? He was clearly far more ingenious than anyone alive today. If the myth that we use less of our brain that he did is disproved, why was he so much more ingenious?
What makes you think that Einstein’s genius was (is) matchless? Don’t get me wrong, Einstein was very clever, but there are things even he didn’t understand. One for all? Quantum Theory (well, I’m not sure he didn’t understand, but certainly he didn’t accept Quantum Theory was true).
Anyway, a simple explanation of why Einstein was more clever than what I ever could be is genetics. Even if we use all of our brain, we don’t have all the same brain. It’s like, you know, why Usain Bolt is faster than me? Well, obviously is because he’s better trained than me, but he’s also taller (to say just one thing).

I believe they actually analyzed his brain after death and noticed peculiarities, with some regions being bigger than usual; but, I’d guess, some regions smaller than usual as well.

Actually, none of the creators of quantum theory understood it either. Most of them freely confessed as much. That’s why Schrödinger hated it, and wished he’d never gotten involved. It takes intelligence to realise what you cannot understand.

some people are more apt. It doesn’t necessarily have to do with the amount of brain he used but more or less what was going on INSIDE his brain.
