Do you think there's a psychological equivalent to the Heisenberg uncertainty principle? I.E., that there's a limit on the accuracy of psychological observations when the subject is aware of those observations.
The fact that the observation influences the subject if he/she is aware of it, it’s quite established, and psychologists have developed various techniques to ensure the accuracy of the observations (some are really just tricks, like saying to the subject that you are observing something when you are really observing another thing), but I don’t think it’s an equivalent of the Heisenberg uncertainty principle.
