People who have a pacemaker on the equator line registered a 55% higher chance of having a heart attack. I know it's still a small number and might be coincidence. A coleague of mine showed us that number. Sorry for the inaccuracy, then.
I can think at least at one thing that more probably causes this increased risk: it’s hot there.
