The scientists by large know more liberal arts, than the science known by...
– Neil DeGrasse Tyson.
I agree. But it really makes me sad when I hear scientists saying that literature is useless because it’s all about unreal stories, or that art in general is meaningless because is subjective. It’s not ok this either.

movementfromdiscord asked: How close do you think the scientists at CERN are to discovering the Higgs Boson? The test results that showed that neutrinos were able to travel faster than light seemed to result from a bad connection in the clock but do you think that the neutrinos actually did travel that fast and the clock's connection didn't contribute to the margin of error enough?

Some thoughts about the new Tumblr policy against...
Tumblr is planning a new policy against self-harm blogs. This includes “blogs that glorify or promote anorexia, bulimia, and other eating disorders; self-mutilation; or suicide.”
Tumblr will prohibit to post content that actively promotes or glorifies self-injury or self-harm and will start posting ““public service announcement”-style language whenever users search for tags that...

Anonymous asked: Have you heard of CERN's attempt to recreate the big bang? I think it was in 2008? Well the scientists discovered a subatomic particle called a nuetrino. This particle arrived at Italy 60 nanoseconds before the speed of light (roughly 300,000 kilometers/per second).. well Einstein's theory of relativity suggests that the speed of light is the boundary for motion and that nothing can...
